tcsoSheriff’s Office says “Thank you!” to our community for turning in nearly 27 pounds of unused medications

The Teton County Sheriff’s Office would like to say “Thank you!” to our community who have turned nearly 27 pounds of unused and expired medications from their medicine cabinets over the past several months.

The Teton County Sheriff’s Office maintains a drug drop off box in the lobby of the Teton County Sheriff’s Office Administration building located at 180 South King Street. The box is available to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to drop off unused medications so that they may be properly disposed of without harm to the environment. Liquid and powder form substances or needles cannot be put into the drop box, however all other pill and capsule form medications can be accepted. As a reminder, the drug drop box is intended for private citizen use and not commercial organizations.

Please feel free to contact the Teton County Sheriff’s Office at (307) 733-4052 with any questions you may have about our drug drop box program.
