Comments Sought For Sheridan Area Trail System

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking comments on a proposed trails system right of way that will create new non-motorized recreation opportunities on the Red Grade parcel 30 minutes southwest of Sheridan.

The BLM will be accepting comments on this Environmental Assessment through August 19, 2016. It is available for review and comment at:

  • In addition to the trails, it is also possible to do long cruising loops on the smooth forest service roads which take you past some interesting old corrals and through a couple of shallow stream crossings. With about 40 miles of trails, this is a great area for a full day ride, or two days of exploration, but the trails are generally more suited to ATVs than motorcycles.
