Fire Evacuee Assistance Available at Colter Elementary

Granite Creek area evacuation underway

Teton County Sheriff’s Office received an evacuation order from Teton County Emergency Management at approximately 2:45 p.m. for the Granite Creek area when the Cliff Creek Fire north of Bondurant reached a trigger point.

Deputies and U.S. Forest Service personnel are in the process of evacuating all residents and visitors from the area. The Granite Creek evacuation order includes Granite Campground, Granite Hot Springs, Jack Pine Summer Homes and the Safari Club.

Evacuees needing assistance may go to Colter Elementary School and register with the American Red Cross.
