Road Repairs for Jackson Ranger District

by Jackson Hole. Media

The Jackson Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest, in partnership with Mountain West Services of Jackson, WY, will repair and reopen the Ditch Creek Road located approximately 10-miles northeast of Kelly, WY.

Earlier this summer the Ditch Creek Road washed out due to high water events experienced in that area of the Forest as the snow began to melt. The road has been under an emergency closure order since that time. Material will be hauled into the site beginning Friday, September 8, 2017. Road repairs will continue throughout the following seven day period with a projected opening on Friday, September 15, 2017. Forest road crew workers stress the need to use caution in the area as large machinery will be operating in order to complete the necessary repairs.
