Community Entry Services Hosts Second Annual Plate Auction

“The Art of Love” to Benefit Adults with Developmental Disabilities

 

Community Entry Services (CES) will host “The Art of Love,” its second Annual Plate Auction featuring one-of-a-kind signature plates by nearly 40 Jackson artists at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Center for the Arts. Live Auction at 7:30 p.m.

 

Crafted by Ceramist Sam Dowd, the plates will showcase the unique artwork of Addie Dore; Amy Ringholz; Anika Youcha; Bill Sawczuk; Bobbi Miller; Boughton Walden; Bryan Iguchi; Carrie Wild; Cynthia Boynton; David V. Gonzales; Deb Fox; Deb Penk; Deb Smith; Diana Eden; Emily Boespflug; Greta Gretzinger; Jason Borbay; Jennifer L. Hoffman; Jenny Dowd; Joe Arnold; Kathryn Mapes Turner; Katy Fox; Katy Klotz; Linda St. Clair; Liz Park; Mike Piggott; Nicole Gaitan; Sally Painter; Sam Dowd; Sarah Webber; Shannon Borrego; Shannon Marie Schacht; Stephanie Strickland; Tenley Thompson; Todd Kosharek; Travis Walker; and Walter Gerald.

 

All artists volunteered their time and talent to create masterpieces that will be auctioned off during a fun evening of cocktails, hors d‘oeuvres and live entertainment.

 

Also, CES is very excited to present works by celebrated students from Jackson Hole High School’s art classes including Freedom Lennon; Jessie Garcia; Lyla Kirkpatrick; and Annaliese Mayor; as well as pieces from several CES participants.

Tickets for “The Art of Love” are $47 at the Center for the Arts box office. Ticket price includes heavy hors d’oeuvres from the Central Wyoming Culinary program, wine donated by The Liquor Store and Wine Loft, signature cocktails and liquor from Grand Teton Distillery, beer from Roadhouse Brewery and live music and entertainment.

Community Entry Services is a nonprofit organization that supports adults with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries to maximize their independence and lead satisfying and productive lives in Teton County. All money raised at this event will go towards supporting Jackson participants and programs.
