by Jackson Hole. Media

One of the goals listed in the Community Health Improvement Plan, created from the Healthy Teton County 2015 Community Health Needs Assessment, is to ensure adults 65+ have access to influenza and pneumococcal vaccines. To make receiving your flu shot as easy as possible, Teton County Public Health will be hosting an Adult 65+ Focused Flu Clinic at the Senior Center on Friday, October 6th, 2017 from 11am-1pm and Friday, October 20th from 12:30pm-2pm. High dose flu shots will be available for individuals who are 65 years old and over, while the quadrivalent flu shot (which consists of 4 strains of the influenza virus) will be available for individuals who are under 65 years of age or individuals who choose not to receive the high dose flu shot. Teton County Public Health can bill Medicare and other insurances for the cost of either type of flu shot. Please bring your Medicare card, insurance card, and/or your supplemental insurance card with you to ensure accurate billing occurs.
