Jackson Hole Still Works is a 100% Wyoming farmed grain to glass distillery located in Jackson, Wyoming. Our Highwater Vodka bottle is now available in stores with the new “Jackson Hole Jackalope” artwork, created by ‘world-renowned artist’ BORBAY.
Jackson Hole Still Works, in partnership with the Art Association of Jackson Hole, hosts an annual competition to find their next masterpiece for the Highwater Vodka label. Each submitted work of art must be in a square format, produced by a Wyoming or Teton County, Idaho artist, and portray a “Wyoming” theme. The 2017 Spirit of Wyoming ‘call for entry’ received 49 incredible submissions. After narrowing down to 8 finalists, the winner was chosen through an open vote by the general public. 100% of the proceeds from the contest, voting party, and raffle of the original artwork benefit the Art Association of Jackson Hole. All 2017 entries are available for viewing on our website: http://www.jhstillworks.com/spirit-of-wyoming/
In June, Jackson Hole Still Works had over 250 people in attendance for our ‘voting party’ — ultimately declaring BORBAY the winner of 2018 “Spirit of Wyoming” competition with his piece “Jackson Hole Jackalope.” Borbay, a transplant to Victor, ID by way of New York City, is a world-renowned artist, who has been featured by BBC World News, Forbes, Los Angeles Magazine, and many more.
