Winter Weather Forecast

by Jackson Hole. Media

A large deep trough will develop across the western United States

later this week, effecting Wyoming through the coming weekend. The

first portion of this expanding storm system will be felt across

the western mountain and valleys of Wyoming Thursday and Thursday

night as light to occasionally moderate snow spreads into the

region. Then Friday, heightened conditions move into the area

west of the Divide with occasionally heavy snow possible through

the day on Saturday. Additionally on Saturday, an associated

strong front will move east of the Continental Divide, bringing

periods of light to moderate snow to nearly all of

Wyoming…continuing through Sunday. Please take caution if

travelling this weekend and allow additional time in getting to

your destination.
