by Jackson Hole. Media

To celebrate 5 years of the Start Up Intensive (SUI) and the impact it is having on successful entrepreneurial outcomes, Central Wyoming College is hosting the CWC Entrepreneurial Showcase on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 4pm-7pm at the Center for the Arts in Jackson, WY. Various graduates from the first 9 programs will be presenting their businesses, sharing their entrepreneurial journeys, and connecting with the community at large in this celebratory event.

Formerly known as the Start Up Institute, the Start Up Intensive is an in-depth entrepreneurial training program designed to provide participants with proven tools, frameworks and skills that winning companies utilize to launch successful business ideas. The program will graduate its 115th student in June 2018 and outcomes for success are much higher than for the average entrepreneur.  The next program will take place the spring of 2019.

Lynne McAuliffe, the Dean of Business, Technical, Health and Safety, stated, “It is within the mission of Central Wyoming College to improve the economy in the communities we serve.  The SUI has successfully helped launch numerous successful businesses, and created many new jobs.  CWC is thankful for all of the partnerships, consultants, mentors and the community support that have made this program possible.”
