Local Businesses Support Food Pantry

by Jackson Hole. Media

50 volunteers from Noble House Hotels & Resorts held a food drive s”can”venger hunt benefiting the Jackson Cupboard, our local food pantry. Volunteers split into teams to collect perishable and nonperishable donations from over 30 area businesses and organizations.

“The event was a total success”, says Rachel Daluge, the Cupboard’s operations director. “Food just kept coming and coming down the stairs”. The total amount of donations came to 3,158 pounds and included several financial contributions as well. Granola bars, soup, pasta, rice, tooth brushes, and deodorant were just a few of the many donated items. Daluge says she would love to do this every year. “It’s a great example of how our community pulls together to help those in need.”
