TeleTown Halls Make Candidates Accessible

by Jackson Hole. Media

Isolated as Jackson Hole is from the rest of the state, it is difficult to be informed on key state political races. However, there is an opportunity online to get caught up on the gubernatorial race – targeting voters over 50 in particular.  AARP Wyoming will host a pair of TeleTown Halls in which AARP Wyoming members will have the opportunity to get to know the Republican and Democratic nominees for governor and their stance on issues important to those age 50 and over. Wyoming’s Republican Nominee, State Treasurer Mark Gordon, has selected 3 pm today for his appearance on the TeleTown Hall. Wyoming’s Democratic Nominee, Mary Throne, appearing at 1 pm Thursday, October 18th. Bob Beck of Wyoming Public Radio will moderate the conversations and open the TeleTown Hall with an introduction of the candidates, and allow the candidates to make an opening statement before answering questions from callers.
